Simon Baier

Simon Baier is Associate Professor in Art History at the University of Oslo. From 2017 to 2023 he was Professor of Contemporary Art at the University of Basel. He has published Field and Signal. Aporias of Painting in Malevich and Lissitzky, 1928 (2021) and co-edited Aesthetics of Equivalence. Art in Capitalism (2024).

Simon Baier er førsteamanuensis i kunsthistorie ved Universitetet i Oslo. Fra 2017 til 2023 var han professor i samtidskunst ved Universitetet i Basel. Han har gitt ut Field and Signal.
