Boel Christensen-Scheel er førsteamanuensis på Høgskolen i Oslo og har en Ph.D. i nyere kunst- og performanceteori. Christensen-Scheel har skrevet flere tekster og anmeldelser om nyere kunst og kunstteori, hun har oversatt Nicolas Bourriauds ‘Relasjonell estetikk’ til norsk (Pax forlag, serien Artes, 2007) og nylig har hun utgitt et essay om Kjartan Slettemarks Nixon-serie (Torpedo Press, 2010).
